Co-Founder Rebecca Winckworth takes you on a trip through our cotton farms in India to find out how the lives of our cotton farmers changed for the better once they were supported in converting to organic agriculture.

In this series #MeetTheMaker, our Co-Founder, Rebecca, interviews some of our cotton farmers to find out about about their involvement in the cotton industry. We're passionate about creating high quality products and this cannot be done without understanding the provenance of our materials and the producers who make them.

When we think of “organic”, we mostly think about food products, such as fruit, vegetables and meat. But did you know that any product that is made or cultivated in agriculture can be organic too? For example, clothing, homeware, personal care and lifestyle products, and this includes fibres such as cotton, which are grown on plants.

Have you ever wondered where your favourite chocolate bar or go-to t-shirt comes from? Farming crops such as cocoa for our chocolate, cotton for our clothing and coffee beans for our caffeine addictions, provides the livelihood for millions of hardworking farmers living across the world.
