Holly Scarsella- Founder at PAMPELONE Clothing

by White Green on September 20, 2018

PAMPELONE clothing was founded by former fashion publicist, Holly Anna Scarsella. After spending her formative years split between the UK and her family home in St Tropez, Holly was enamoured by the tremendously glamorous women that flock to the Cote D’Azur for the summer season. Holly’s journey with Pampelone so far has landed her a spot in the Forbes 30 under 30 list of UK entrepreneurs.

Every summer Holly would sit back and silently applaud the style these women oozed, whether stepping off a yacht in the port or having lunch with friends at Club 55. Emulating this look became Holly’s goal – creating a brand that embodied the classic style of Brigitte Bardot, yet was wholly relevant for the global modern woman.

PAMPELONE clothing aims to transport you to the famed Pampelone beach and make you feel like you’ve just hopped into one of the iconic boutiques to pick up your latest beach fancy. The entire collection is organic, made of the highest quality cotton and ethically made in India.

Each week, What Matters Most interviews a revolutionary leader from the business and activism world about what is most important to them in their life and work. We are deeply inspired by these people and we hope our readers will be too!

When were you/are you happiest in your life?

Whenever I'm with my family. The most special moments of my day are those first precious moments when I wake up with my little baby girl and my husband.

What's the one thing you wish you knew when you were 18?

That it would all work out. And not to sweat the small stuff.

What matters the most to you in your work?

One of the best things about working for yourself is the tangibility of seeing results. If you put the work in, you see the results before your eyes. I love that feeling. I also value the fragility of this - it keeps you working hard!

Is there one stand out moment from your journey with Pampelone so far?

I think seeing the brand in Bloomingdales on Fifth Avenue was a massive pinch me moment! Bloomingdales is so iconic and to see the brand that I created with my own hands being sold in there was a huge achievement.
